Why Two Peas?

My husband and I were thrilled to find out we were expecting again after dealing with secondary infertility. However, when I was approximately seven weeks along, I began experiencing complications that led me to receive an ultrasound at my OBGYN's office. While there, I learned that I was pregnant with twins but was in the process of losing one. We had hope that the second baby would survive but found out a little over two weeks later that it was not to be the case.

During my recovery, I knew I needed to do something for myself. While I knew that nothing I did contributed to the loss of my babies, I still wanted to be as healthy as I could be for my next pregnancy. The problem was I didn’t know where to start. There is so much misinformation out there in the health and wellness space that it can quickly become overwhelming. Through a lot of trial and error, fitness, a whole foods approach to nutrition, and overall lifestyle changes, my family and I have been on a path towards better overall health.

I truly believe that even the smallest people can make a big impact on the world. My twins left their mark on my soul, inspired me, and led me on this amazing journey. I am excited for all that is to come and look forward to being able to share my knowledge with you as we walk this path.

Thank you babies for making me a better wife for your dad, a better mom for your brothers, and a better friend for those around me. I hope to honor your short time in this life and use your loss to help others where I can.
